We design, manufacture, and install custom kitchens, built-in cupboards, storage solutions, vanities, and bars. We also offer a wide range of materials and finishes — from Wrappe, Melamine and Veneer cabinetry to countertops in Formica, Granite or Quartz.

Our showroom hours are Monday – Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00, Friday 08:00–13:00 and Saturdays by appointment only.

We begin with a consultation to understand your space, needs and style preferences. From there, we draft a design tailored to your lifestyle and space - whether it’s a kitchen, built-in cupboard, vanity or bar. Once you approve the design, our in-house manufacturing and installation team builds and fits the cabinetry and finishes.

We offer a variety of cabinetry finishes including Wrappe, Melamine and Veneer. For countertops and surfaces, you can choose from Formica, Granite, or Quartz - giving you flexibility to match both your aesthetic preferences and budget.

Retha’s Kitchens was founded in 2001. Over two decades, we’ve grown from a local franchise into an independent brand with our own manufacturing factory and stone-processing facilities, delivering quality craftsmanship across private homes and large-scale housing projects.

Yes. Retha’s Kitchens provides a comprehensive service from the initial consultation and design to manufacturing, finishing, and installation - so you don’t have to coordinate with multiple contractors.

We partner with accredited suppliers and use premium materials; our experienced team ensures quality craftsmanship with attention to detail. All our installations are carried out professionally to meet high standards of durability, functionality and aesthetics.

After the initial consultation and design agreement, we provide a detailed quote specifying cabinetry, hardware, countertop materials, installation and any additional works. We aim to be transparent about costs and alert you to any changes.

Lead times vary according to the complexity of the project, availability of materials/finishes and scope of installation. After the design stage, expected manufacturing and installation timelines will be discussed and agreed with you.

That’s fine. We work with your existing plumbing, electrics and appliances, or we can coordinate new appliance integration if required. It helps if you bring appliance specs / dimensions at the design stage so our cabinetry can accommodate them.

Our core focus is cabinetry, built-in units and countertops. If structural changes (moving walls, plumbing relocation) are required, we can recommend trusted contractors or coordinate with your chosen builder to ensure everything works seamlessly.

We stand by the quality of our workmanship and materials. Specific warranty terms (for cabinetry, hardware, finishes) will be provided in your agreement. We also provide after-sales support for adjustments, servicing or issues that may arise.

Yes - we can provide design-only packages if you already have a builder/contractor and you just need the cabinetry and layout design. Let us know your requirements and we’ll tailor accordingly.

Absolutely — we encourage you to bring inspiration photos, finishes you like, colour palettes, appliance specs and layout ideas. It helps tailor the design to your taste and ensures we meet your vision.

To make the most of your first visit:

• Rough measurements of your space (if available).

• Appliance dimensions/specifications (hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, etc).

• Preferred finishes, inspiration images or style references.

• Budget range (this helps guide design decisions).

• Any existing drawings or floor plan if you have one.

Yes — prior to installation you (or your contractor) should ensure that plumbers, electricians and any other trades (e.g., flooring, tiling) are completed or scheduled so that the cabinetry install can proceed smoothly. The installation day will be coordinated with you and our team.
